Maisa is easy to reach by boat, public transport, bicycle or car. Located in historic Maisansalo on the shores of Lake Näsijärvi, Resortti Maisa is just a 35-minute drive from Tampere city centre. When arriving via Lake Näsijärvi in the summer, you can moor your boat at the guest marina, whilst cars can be parked in the complimentary car park on Maisa's grounds. Cruises departing from Tampere’s Mustalahti harbour offer a unique way to admire the lake scenery and arrive along the same route that history has followed for centuries. The Nysse bus number 90 also stops right next to Maisa.

Get to know Resortti Maisa
Maisansalo is one of the oldest residential sites in Northern Tampere, with the original Polso estate dating back as far as the 16th century. People have lived, worked, and travelled on this very spot for centuries. The buildings, the old highway, and the lakeside scenery tell the story of past generations whose lives have shaped these historic grounds. Reopened in the summer of 2026, Maisa is now experiencing a new renaissance, with further updates unfolding in phases.
