Restaurantti Maisa is a summer restaurant located in Maisansalo, on the shores of Lake Näsijärvi in Teisko, Tampere. In the relaxed atmosphere of the summer bistro, you can enjoy seasonal flavours, locally sourced ingredients, and the stunning lake views opening up from the summer terrace.
On weekdays, Restaurant Maisa is a great place to enjoy a summer lunch or stop by for a soft serve ice cream. Drop in during a summer outing, while exploring the area or on a bike ride. We serve delicious meals, light bites and café treats for the whole family, and our summer café is a lovely place to enjoy coffee, ice cream or refreshing drinks by the lake.

Whether you are on your way to a holiday cottage, out on a bike ride, arriving by boat, or on a summer day trip, Maisa is an easy place to pop into for a brief moment or a longer stay.
Our summer menu offers both small bites and larger meals: parmesan chips, traditional local black sausage (mustamakkara), Maisa’s signature smörrebröd, or a classic salmon soup.
For the children, Maisa serves favourites like kids' burgers or chicken nuggets.
You can also drop by just for dessert or indulge in a full multi-course treat: how about a deep-fried bun, a baked apple, or a soft-serve ice cream with your coffee?
On weekend mornings throughout July, we set up the ultimate holidaymaker's dream: Maisa’s Finnish buffet breakfast. It is simple, delicious, and homemade – perfect for unhurried mornings alongside a smooth, dark-roast coffee.
The fully licensed restaurant also offers a selection of refreshing cold drinks tailored to adult tastes.
Scenic Lakeside Terrace with Views over Lake Näsijärvi
Located in the historic Manor House, the restaurant has undergone a complete transformation prior to its opening. The dining areas, interior surfaces, and service environment have been fully updated to meet modern standards, whilst carefully respecting the unique atmosphere and history of the building.
The grandest addition to the Manor House is the stunning new terrace, offering panoramic views over Lake Näsijärvi. Towering pines, the lakeside landscape, and the tranquillity of nature create an exceptional setting for dining, coffee breaks, or spending a summer evening.
Restaurantti Maisa serves as a natural stopover point for both locals and holidaymakers alike. Here, you are welcome to walk right in just as you are – wearing your cottage sandals, carrying your cycling helmet, or straight off a boat.
